Hi friends and welcome to Life Lessons

In one of the previous episodes, we have looked into the problems that make the work unfit to live peacefully. In this context, Lord Sri Krishna Has already briefly described how the KaliYuga or the present times would be. I m loved the way the entire scenario is perfectly shown in four lines. But before we can come to these lines we need to look into a small chronicle for better understanding.

Need of Understanding God’s words

There is a need to understand god’s words about the present times. It is because only after understanding how the present situation is we can plan and do something that really gives us gains in life.  after knowing these lines I felt that every person should know these 4 truths of Kaliyuga to plan a better life. let us look into a small chronicle in this context and then discuss the 4 sentences said by God.

The Chronicle of Pandavas

One fine day in the Yudhistira (The eldest Pandava) was out of the town for some reason. The rest of the four Pandavas and Krishna were sitting back and gossiping. In this process, Pandavas asked Lord Krishna about how the Upcoming Kaliyuga would be.

Krishna replied, “I will answer your question but you should do something. I will shoot four arrows in four directions, one each should bring the arrows to me. Then tell me what happened in the places where the arrows fall”. The Pandavas noded accepting the same.

Krishna fired four arrows and the four Pandavas left in the search of these arrows.

THE FIRST ARROW

Arjuna followed the first arrow. He found the arrow near a cuckoo (an auspicious bird). That Cuckoo had the sweetest of voices, but it ripped flesh out of Rabbit. And the painful thing was that the rabbit was still alive. Arjuna was taken back from that sight and returned to Krishna

THE SECOND ARROW

Bhima followed the second arrow. He found the arrow near a place that had five wells. One well was surrounded by four other wells. He observed that the four outer wells are overflowing with clean water, whereas the middle one was all empty. Bhima was surprised and returned to Krishna.

THE THIRD ARROW

Nakula Went behind the third arrow. He found the arrow near a crowd looking at something and talking about it. He went near and saw that a cow gave birth to a calf and was licking so much that the calf was getting injured. Therefore people around it were trying to separate them but were not able to do it. He wondered how pious can be such a cow. He returned to Krishna with the same question in mind.

THE FOURTH ARROW

Sahadeva was behind the fourth arrow. He found the arrow near a mountain. He observed that a big boulder was dislodged and began its way down by crushing everything in its way. But it was stopped by a small and weak plant. This made Sahadeva Surprised. He returned to Krishna to ask about the same.

The Conclusion by LORD KRISHNA

Lord Krishna smiled at the view of Pandavas returning. As they asked about the meaning behind these scenes Lord Krishna starting explaining the meaning behind these four scenes.

THE FOUR SENTENCES ABOUT KALIYUGA BY GOD

Lord Krishna started to explain the four scenes into four sentences about Kaliyuga:

1.       The Cuckoo had a sweet voice but ripped of flesh from a live Rabbit. This means that In Kaliyuga, saints will have all sweet words but they will exploit and inflict pain in followers.

2.       The four surrounding wells were overflowing with water but the center one was all empty. This shows that In Kaliyuga, The rich people will be overflowing with fortune, yet they will not spare a single penny to the poor and the needy.

3.       The cow licked the calf so much that it started to injure the calf.  This means that In Kaliyuga, Parents will love their children so intensely that they end up spoiling them and lead to become them (parents) blind to other relationships.

4.        The Big bolder fell down the mountain destroying any trees that came its way but stopped by a weak plant. This implies that People (boulders) will overcome all the assets (trees) like relatives, family, assets, and friends. None of these will help escape the doom, rather a weak but faithful recalling of God’s name (the weak plant) will help them escape their doom.

BOTTOM LINE

The four lines stated by Lord Krishna speak about the way the Kaliyuga will turn into. This is all true if we keenly observe all these lines in detail. But it is not fair to sit back in perception that this is the final scene. We as an individual can take responsibility to change the scenario. For example, after going through this chronicle, I decided to make my (future) kids learn about their duties and place before my love for them spoils them. I hope this description will bring about an idea into us about how the scenario will be if we are not careful. Thus it turns into our responsibility to take care in these contexts and make the world a better one.

We may not change the entire scenario, but definitely, we can initiate and do our part.
