Changes can indeed bring differences in life. But does the size of change matter? Well, it doesn’t. A small change can bring about a large difference.

Life is never perfect. It always consists of many ups and downs. This observation is well renowned among all of us. The actual factor that matters in the flow of this uneven life is the difference that we can create in it.

This difference plays an important role in all parts of life. There may be many problems in life. These can only be solved only when we change our perception and strive to create a difference. The difference that needs to be brought is very typical. Because it is difficult to determine what change can make this difference. There are many cases where differences are brought from small changes in the implementation process.

It is evident to believe that small changes have the capability to bring about big changes. Let us look into one such small change that can prove to be magical in creating motivation as well as a big difference in life. This change is nothing but the Habit of making bed soon after we get up in the morning.

You may be surprised by the habit I stated above. I may seem illogical to believe that making the bed first in the morning can bring about magical differences in life, but it is true. I can say this with utmost confidence as it has actually worked for me in my life.

Let us look in detail in the following lines.

Importance of making the bed

Basically, Bed making is nothing but arranging our bed by folding and aligning bed sheets and pillows thus organizing the bed soon after we get up from the bed. This is generally the first task for anyone soon after getting up. Some may be habituated to sleep on beds; some others may be acquainted with sleep on the floor. No matter what may be the mode is making the bed makes difference.

Now the question is what makes this a motivation for an individual when done?

Making the bed is the first task soon after getting up from sleep. The interesting fact is that this first task will be accomplished successfully. This starts the day with success and positive motivation. Positive motivation at the start of the day is the best asset that one can have on that day.

Positive motivation gained by this helps in the accomplishment of other daily tasks easily. Motivation is an important factor among all those factors that lead us to success.

A question may arise- In case we face failure on any such day, what happens?

It is inevitable to understand that all days are not the same in life. Having motivation at the start of the day is definitely in our hands. We can strive for success with motivation in hand, but returning home with success is not completely in our hands. The bed that is completely made still helps to motivate in this scenario.

How?

In case you have returned home with an uncompleted task or with demotivated self, the bed that is made shows you still have completed some tasks completely. You are not a complete zero. This thought regenerates the motivation in us for running in life in the next day.
